RCDII Donates Funds To Nkwatia Presbyterian Primary School For The Renovation Of Three Classrooms, Office And Staff Washroom

Rural Communities Development International, Inc. (RCDII) has committed $18,000 to renovate a three-classroom block, office, and staff washroom at Nkwatia Presbyterian Primary School in Ghana.

 

The renovation project is designed to create a safer and more conducive learning environment for students and staff. Key improvements include:

  • New roofing for the building

  • Reinforcement of structural pillars

  • Stripping and replacement of old walls and floors

  • Electrical upgrades

  • Installation of new floors, ceilings, windows, and doors

  • Complete plastering and painting

                                   

                         

                       

This initiative reflects RCDII’s mission to empower communities through education and infrastructure development. By transforming outdated facilities into modern, secure spaces, the organization is helping ensure that students and teachers have the environment they need to thrive.

Every child deserves a clean, safe space to enjoy their meals. But at Kwahu Oda RC Primary and Junior High School in Ghana, students have long eaten lunch under a simple shed beside the school wall, steps from an unpaved road where dust constantly blows into their food.

Thanks to the support of RCDII (Rural Community Development and Infrastructure Initiative), change is on the way.

A new school canteen is currently under construction, designed to seat up to 50 students at a time.

RCDII Donates $10,000 to Pentecost Preparatory School in Ashaiman, Ghana, to Provide 300 Classroom Tables and Chairs

Rural Communities Development International Inc. (RCDII) has donated $10,000 to the Pentecost Preparatory School in Ashaiman, Ghana. The donation was made towards the purchase of 300 pairs of tables and chairs, helping to improve classroom conditions for students.

The official donation ceremony took place on February 28, 2025, and was attended by staff, students, and members of the community.

Dr. Emmanuel Kwame Obeng, President of RCDII, personally presented the donation. The event was marked by a vibrant display of culture and tradition, with students performing traditional dances to celebrate the occasion.

Mr. Abraham Asante-Obeng, Headmaster of Pentecost Preparatory School, expressed deep appreciation on behalf of the school.

Board members of the school echoed this sentiment, noting that the donation comes at a critical time when the school is working to improve its infrastructure and accommodate growing enrollment.

This initiative reflects RCDII’s broader mission to providing essential resources in health, education, and development. The organization continues to build partnerships that directly impact the lives of children and families across Africa.
